Day 1
Samburu & Shaba Game Reserve: After breakfast we will depart on a short flight that will take us to the Samburu Game Reserve where we will spend three nights. We will arrive in time for a short morning game drive in the park followed by lunch. The park also is home to hundreds of bird species. It is set in a beautiful desert area surrounding two rivers which provide water year round for the wildlife and cause them to concentrate in the park. It is named after the Samburu tribe which still lives in the area. They are related to the Masai and speak the Maa language. We will have a chance to meet them and may visit their villages.
